Party Experiences
This was our second Blind Wine, and we learned a lot from the first. This time we had someone pour for us and she used pour regulators. These are both excellent ideas for Blind Wine competitions.

This was so much fun and harder to judge than any of us thought. In addition to the medal, we gave the award winning wine a Blind Wine Tasting Game so we can do it again. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Party Experiences
If you plan a dinner for after your tasting, plan something that requires little to no attention, unless you hire someone to coordinate. We baked pizza ahead of time and it was a little dry by dinner time from being held in the warming oven. Another good helper to have on hand would be someone to pour tasting room size tastes. Our group got a little over zealous, if you know what I mean. All 6 bottles were empty by pizza time! On our results, note the cost of who came in first and who came in 6th!

This was a fun party! Everyone kept going back and drinking the winning bottle. The lowest ranked bottle was still half full at the end of the night. My friends were raving about the great time we had after the gold medal was awarded to Jeff and Cindy.

We wanted to do something different for my girlfriend’s wedding shower. This was a great way to get it started. After the wine game we had a nice lunch and a great afternoon. We already planned another one for next weekend.
